About Jemma Wilkinson

I'm an accredited Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Mental Health Trainer based in Kent, offering face-to-face therapy in Kent and online therapy across the UK and Europe. I'm known for my warm, collaborative, and solution-focused approach, helping clients gain insight while developing practical strategies to create meaningful, lasting change. Therapy with me has been described as "different from the normal stiff upper lip therapists"

As a person I know how mental health struggles can be overwhelming and it's important to provide you with the space you deserve to be truly heard

Qualifications

  • First Class BSc (Hons) Counselling – University of East London

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosis – King's College London

  • Advanced Diploma in Clinical Supervision

  • Accredited Psychotherapist

I have extensive experience working within the NHS, Harley Street, and private practice, supporting adults, young people, couples, and organisations. My specialist interests include psychosis, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, relationships, and identity.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw on Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, CBT for Psychosis (CBTp), Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Transactional Analysis, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit one particular model.

Alongside my clinical work, I provide clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as CPD training, clinical workshops, and workplace mental health training for organisations, healthcare professionals, and businesses.
